Sausage and Potato Casserole

This is a very hearty casserole dish, and I usually serve it with a garden salad on the side. You can slice the sausages into chunks before baking, but I prefer to leave them whole.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 4 tbsp Bisquick
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 10 sausages

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to three hundred and fifty degrees, and grease a baking dish.
  • Wash the potatoes and slice thinly.
  • Layer the potato slices into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with some of the Bisquick, salt, and pepper, and drizzle with a little of the melted butter.
  • Repeat the layers until there are no potatoes left.
  • Pour three cups of heavy cream over the layers and place the sausages on top.
  • Bake for one hour. Enjoy!
