If you’re thinking of a new brunch item to add to your menu, here it is. Incorporating sesame oil into pancake batter may seem unusual, but once you taste the combination with the scallions, I guarantee you will enjoy it. However, if you are not a fan of sesame flavor, you can omit it.
Preheat the oven to three hundred and fifty degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together two cups of Bisquick, and one teaspoon of baking powder.
In a separate bowl, mix one egg, one tablespoon of sesame oil, and one-half cup of cold water together until well blended. Gently stir in one-half cup of scallions, one-half cup of crumbled bacon, and one cup of grated cheddar cheese. Add one cup of bread crumbs and mix well.
Scoop the batter with a tablespoon and roll each one into balls. The batter should be thick. Add more bread crumbs if the batter is too moist. Place on the prepared baking sheets, and bake for fifteen minutes, or until golden.
To prepare the dipping sauce, mix one-half cup of sour cream, one-quarter cup of mayonnaise, and one teaspoon of sriracha.Enjoy!
